Our remote lodge is located in the heart of the West Canada Lakes wilderness area, deep in the Adirondack Mountains. It is 13 miles from the nearest paved road and is only accessible by all terrain vehicle or snowmobile. It is the perfect base for your wilderness adventure.
The remoteness of the region combined with limited access and low hunting pressure allows bucks to reach maturity. While deer densities are low and the hunting challenging, the opportunity exists to harvest a true trophy. Bucks in this region grow to weights of over 200 lbs. field dressed and carry impressive racks to match.
Big game season kicks off in New York with the opening of the early bear season in mid-September. The weather at this time is still quite warm and pleasant, and these elusive bruins are actively feeding to pack on the pounds for the upcoming winter. The most productive way to hunt at this time is from well placed stands or ground blinds overlooking an active food source.
We can accommodate hunters of any ability or experience level. Come enjoy the experience of a traditional Adirondack deer camp.
