longbeards in the morning
until noon or your tag is filled
(whichever comes first),
then trolling for walleye and trout on the Great Sacandaga Lake from 4 to 8 pm.
This makes for a full day
of outdoor excitement
with time for a
siesta in the afternoon.

The month of May is by far the most exhilarating time to hunt these elusive birds.
Most of our hunting takes place on agricultural land in and around the fertile Mohawk River Valley. More challenging hunts are available for those who would like to pursue their bird in the Adirondack Mountains. We employ tactics ranging from well placed ground blinds to "runnin' & gunnin" and welcome hunters of all ages and ability levels.
